Precautions for using whiteboard

Writing and Erasing

Use a dedicated whiteboard marker for writing. Avoid using markers, watercolors, or other oil-based pens to prevent permanent stains.

Erase your writing within 24 hours of writing. Long-term residue is more difficult to remove and may even leave a ghosting effect.

Use a dedicated whiteboard eraser or a slightly damp, soft cloth for wiping. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads or steel wool to prevent scratching the coating.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular deep cleaning: Use a dedicated whiteboard cleaner or diluted neutral detergent with a soft cloth to remove stubborn marks and dust.

Avoid using strong solvents such as alcohol, acetone, or thinner, as these may damage the coating.

Allow the board to air dry after cleaning. Avoid repeatedly wiping with paper towels or rough cloths.

Installation and Environment

Avoid violent impacts or bending during installation, especially for boards cut from rolls, to prevent substrate deformation or coating cracking.

Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures to prevent coating aging and discoloration.

Keep the environment dry to prevent moisture from causing the substrate to rust or the coating to peel off.

Other precautions: Do not scratch the board surface with sharp objects (such as knives or scissors) to avoid irreversible damage.

Remove sticky notes and tape promptly after use to avoid adhesive residue.

If accidentally stained with oil-based pen marks, try repeatedly wiping with whiteboard cleaner. If the marks cannot be removed, it is recommended to contact a professional for handling.
